Founded in 2011 by David Smith, The Bagby Restaurant Group continues to grow throughout the Baltimore, MD area. Currently, we manage three restaurants: Bagby Pizza Company, Ten Ten American Bistro, and Fleet Street Kitchen. All are located in the historic Bagby Furniture Building near the popular Harbor East neighborhood in Baltimore.
With a strong commitment to creating and sustaining local food systems, we source the majority of our ingredients from our own Cunningham Farms in Cockeysville, MD, other mid-atlantic farms, and local food purveyors. Further, we take a “slow food” approach to cooking, making most of our ingredients, condiments, bread, and charcuterie in-house using both traditional and modern techniques.
Consistent with our belief in food system sustainability, all of our seafood served in our restaurants must be deemed “Best Choice” or “Good Alternative” from The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Sustainable Seafood Watch to be served on our menus. Additionally, we work closely with The Oyster Recovery Partnership to recycle all of our local oyster shells back into the Chesapeake Bay’s wild oyster population.
